Divisions

Our Administration division oversees department operations. This division is responsible for ensuring that all department policies and procedures are followed, and that all officers are adequately trained and equipped to carry out their duties. The Administration division also manages the department’s budget and works closely with the Chief to ensure that the department is meeting its goals and objectives.

Our Patrol division is responsible for patrolling the city and responding to calls from the community. Our officers are highly trained and committed to keeping Breaux Bridge safe. They work 24/7 to ensure that the citizens of Breaux Bridge can live, work and play in a safe and secure environment.

Our Detectives division is responsible for investigating crimes. Our highly trained detectives use their expertise to investigate and solve crimes, and bring criminals to justice. The Detectives division works closely with the Patrol division and the Records division to ensure that all necessary evidence and information is obtained and properly documented.

The Records division is responsible for preparing reports for distribution to the public or courts and maintaining files of all reports from Patrol and Detectives. This division ensures that all records and reports are accurate and up-to-date. The Records division also provides the public with the necessary information they need to obtain copies of incident reports.
